We earn commissions
When you buy through a link on this site, we may receive a small fee from the retailer — at no extra cost to you.
Reviews come first
Affiliate links are added only after a review is complete. A product's score is never influenced by our commission rate.
Always disclosed
Every page containing affiliate links carries a visible disclosure notice. We do not use unmarked sponsored content.
FTC disclosure: In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), NutraDiscovery discloses that some links on this website are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you make a purchase through these links. This disclosure applies site-wide.
What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a revenue model in which a website earns a commission by referring readers to a retailer's product page. When you click an affiliate link on NutraDiscovery and complete a purchase on the retailer's site, we receive a percentage of the sale price as a referral fee.
The commission is paid by the retailer — not by you. The price you pay for the product is identical whether you arrive through an affiliate link or by typing the retailer's address directly into your browser.
How we earn commissions
NutraDiscovery participates in affiliate programs offered by retailers and supplement marketplaces. When a product we have reviewed is available through one of these programs, we include a trackable affiliate link alongside our editorial content.
Important: Not every product we review has an affiliated purchase link. Some products are reviewed and scored without any affiliated retailer relationship — particularly where we reach a negative or mixed conclusion and no retailer program is available. The absence or presence of an affiliate link is not an editorial signal.
Commission rates vary by retailer and product category, typically ranging from 3% to 12% of the sale price. We do not accept fixed fees, upfront payments, or "pay per review" arrangements from brands or retailers.
Editorial firewall
The following rules govern the relationship between our affiliate revenue and our editorial content. They are non-negotiable:
- Reviews are written before affiliate links are added. Our editorial process — ingredient analysis, evidence review, scoring — is completed independently. Affiliate links are inserted only after the review is published or finalized.
- Commission rates do not affect scores. A product with a high commission rate receives the same impartial analysis as one with a low rate or no rate at all.
- We publish negative findings. Products that do not perform well receive low scores regardless of whether they carry an affiliate link. We do not remove or soften reviews at brand or retailer request.
- Brands cannot pay for coverage. We do not accept payment for reviews, guaranteed placements, or positive coverage of any kind.
- Products are sourced independently. Supplements reviewed on this site are purchased through standard retail channels. We do not accept complimentary products from brands in exchange for reviews.
FTC compliance
The United States Federal Trade Commission requires that material connections between a reviewer and a product — including financial relationships — be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. NutraDiscovery complies with these requirements as follows:
Site-wide disclosure: This page serves as a standing disclosure for all affiliate relationships across the site. A brief disclosure notice also appears in the footer of every page.
In-content disclosure: Pages that contain affiliate links carry a visible disclosure notice near the top of the content, before any affiliated links appear.
If you have questions about whether a specific link on this site is an affiliate link, you are welcome to contact us and we will confirm.
